Just days after South Carolina dropped pledge lawsuits against cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, Kentucky became the third state to dismiss such lawsuits after Vermont. Kentucky financial regulator filed a joint withdrawal indictment Monday, formally ending legal action against Coinbase pledge services. Previously, the service was charged with violating state securities laws. “Congress needs to pass the federal market structure law as soon as possible to end this litigation-driven, state-by-state regulation,” Coinbase Chief Legal Officer Paul Grewal said on the X platform.
