On April 3, CZ shared its investment experience on the Reachme platform:
"I stay away from fancy models. I never buy creativity. Creativity is worthless. Execution is the key. Here is what I have written before: My investment philosophy includes three key principles:
1. Pay attention to fundamentals: forget those fancy business models. Instead, focus on the essence: product, user growth, revenue/profit, and team strength.
2. Bet for a long time, buy and hold as early as possible: Early adopters usually get disproportionate returns. There will be many failures along the way, but a few successes are enough to make up for them. The best way is to hold investments for a long time, as major successes like Amazon or Google have evolved over time. Setbacks and short-term failures, like Terra, are all part of the journey.
3. Invest in founders with a sense of mission: Invest in founders and teams who have a vision of exceeding profits. Great companies are derived from mission-driven mindsets, as founders who focus on money tend to shake after moderate success. Those who work for greater causes will create more sustainable and impactful businesses. "
CZ said the above is taken from his forthcoming book.
