On April 5, the decline of the three major U.S. stock indexes continued, with the S&P 500 falling by 5.27%, the Nasdaq falling by 5.25% during the day, and the Dow Jones fell by 4.60%.
Note: The benchmark index of the U.S. index circuit breaker mechanism is S&P 500, and the individual decline threshold is 7%, 13%, and 20%. Trading across the U.S. securities market will be suspended for 15 minutes when the index falls 7% or 13% from the previous day's closing point, and trading on that day will stop when the index falls 20% from the previous day's closing point.
