Former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has revealed a bold plan to fund an AI-powered tweeting assistant on X that creates posts for users to personalize interactions on the platform. He shared this idea while meeting with BNB Chain developers on a Sunday, calling it “My X Agent.”

In a Sunday post on X, CZ shared his idea during a break from meetings with BNB Chain developers, which suggested building an AI assistant that tweets for users while mimicking their tone and style.

CZ called this project “My X Agent” and added that his new company, YZiLabs, would fund the project only if it could stand out from other similar concepts by “generating high-quality tweets.”

CZ shares a plan to build an AI agent that generates tweets for users in their voices

CZ explained the tool’s different functions, saying that it would “Tweet like You” by analyzing the details of a user’s tweet history, like their writing style, common words, sentence structure, and tone, to come up with real tweet suggestions.

CZ also wants to merge the X API with advanced AI models like DeepSeek and GPT-4o to help My X Agent understand the tone of your tweets and review their history to identify popular posts so it can suggest content that sounds like you wrote them.

He explained how the AI would better learn to match a user’s voice and provide smarter tweets the more they interact with it by accepting or rejecting tweet suggestions.

But CZ’s vision for My X Agent goes beyond just tweeting because it would also be able to summarize tweets and long threads for users who don’t have the time or patience to read every reply or detail.

The tool would pick key points from the threads to create short, easy-to-read summaries and even come up with smart reply suggestions that sound exactly like you when you want to respond supportively, give a counterpoint, or remain neutral.

When it comes to content sensitivity, the AI agent will flag risky or sensitive content before a user posts it by alerting them with suggestions to rephrase their comments and, ultimately, protect their reputations. That’s not all; it will also scan current conversations on X to understand the sentiment around trending topics and suggest the best ways for users to join without sounding off-key.

Finally, the AI would spot trending tweets and suggest how to respond or reshare them to help grow a user’s presence on X.

CZ said that if the tool turns out to be a success, he wouldn’t mind integrating it into other messaging platforms like Telegram, WhatsApp, Signal, and ReachMe.io. He also shared a clear billing plan that included a free plan with five tweet suggestions to allow users to test the tool, a pro plan with more suggestions at 0.015 BNB (around $0.10) per tweet, and the opportunity for users to buy in bulk to be able to train the bot on old tweets.

He closed by saying that despite seeing many other similar projects, none have been able to impress him, so YZiLabs will fund a project that can meet his high expectations and standards.

A successful AI tweet bot can reshape crypto branding and improve Binance’s reputation

Changpeng Zhao stepped down as Binance CEO in 2023 after pleading guilty to a money laundering charge in the U.S. and being imprisoned for four months. However, because people still view him as part of the brand, his support for this project through YZiLabs could improve Binance’s reputation, especially after it went through regulatory issues after CZ’s legal trouble.

Another area where this AI tool could be of great help is Web3 because it will help creators who struggle to keep up with posting and replying to comments by tweeting on their behalf and in their voice. The only problem is that if an influencer’s followers realize that their creator is using AI to engage them, they could question the authenticity of the entire content.

Similarly, the success of this AI agent could change how crypto startups, DAOs, and decentralized projects communicate by replying to followers or posting updates. While smaller teams can stay active online, people won’t know who posts a message, which could bring issues related to transparency, trust, and control within the community.

The biggest downside is that because CZ was found guilty of money laundering and went to prison, crypto governing bodies will heavily scrutinize any new project linked to him, limiting their potential.
