The SEC just objected to the "emergency request to provide decisive evidence" filed by Justin W. Keener on April 4, which was beneficial to Ripple. The SEC opposed the motion because they stated: 1) the district court had no jurisdiction over the request because the case had been moved to the Second Circuit; 2) Keener did not file a proper motion for intervention; 3) it was not necessary because, as the SEC attorney pointed out, Ripple had the ability to decide on its own whether the “evidence” involved would contribute to its case For these reasons, the SEC requested Judge Torres to reject the request altogether.
