On April 8, during the Web3 Festival HK event, the offline theme event "Crypto 2025: Breakthrough and Rebirth" was successfully held in Hong Kong. The atmosphere at the event was warm, attracting many crypto industry leaders, cutting-edge project representatives, well-known investment institutions and leading KOLs to gather together to discuss the evolution direction and breakthrough of the Crypto market in the new cycle.

This event focuses on the theme of "breaking the deadlock and rebirth" and has in-depth exchanges around popular tracks such as AI, Memecoin, and RWA. Adam Jin, consultant at Solana Foundation, Arda Senoz, head of ecology at Alchemy Pay, Jenny, head of Chinese market at Avalanche, and Jaden Yan, chief architect at Aethir, also shared their forward-looking judgments and practical experience on the industry trends.

Keynote speech

The event officially kicked off with the keynote speech "OKX New Narrative" by OKX Chinese brand director Lanng. In his speech, Lanng introduced that OKX has a compliance team of over 500 people and has released 29 consecutive reserve certificate reports. The total assets of the platform's mainstream currencies reached US$24.6 billion, and the proportion of clean assets is as high as 99.5%, reflecting strong asset transparency and stable operational capabilities.

Lanng also disclosed that the OKX Web3 wallet’s user growth reached 991% in 2024, daily transaction volume increased by 20 times, and the ecological activity increased significantly. Recently, OKX Web3 wallet has successively launched X-floating plug-ins, AI insight and other functions, and will also add new black address monitoring and tracking capabilities to provide users with higher-level asset security guarantees.

In the sharing of "MEME Is Not a Dead: Using AI Agent to Lay the Life of MEME to Global IP", IPFUN core builder Hacky Sack said that IP is a traffic story and an influential product. The new IP can rely on its own attractiveness to break free from the constraints of a single platform, distribute content on multiple platforms and maintain coordination with the attorney.

Hacky also disclosed the operating model of IPFUN. It is reported that this year, Alchemy Pay will also officially launch Alchemy Chain, a public chain focusing on stablecoin payment and transfer, and plans to launch fiat currency to purchase new features and products such as RWA and AI payment.

AEON CEO Eddie Li mentioned in the theme sharing of "Unlocking the Future of Crypto Payments for EffOrtless Mass Adoption" that AEON is giving real-world application value to digital assets through AEON Pay, using the concept of "payment abstraction", breaking the technical barriers of traditional crypto payments, helping cryptocurrencies truly enter the public, and promoting crypto payments to offline scenarios and wider application fields.

Co-founder Hunter also introduced the overall development of the platform on the spot. At present, more than 17,000 projects and 10,000 people have been included, becoming a high-frequency query portal for 2 million users, with more than 4.2 million search requests per month.

In the roundtable discussion of "How to Break the Dash in Crypto 2025", Solana Foundation Advisor Adam Jin, Avalanche China Market Leader Jenny, Kite AI Chief Marketing Officer Cindy Shi, Sunova, Growth Head, and Jaden Yan, Aethir Chief Architect, conducted in-depth discussions on industry trends and future changes.

Sunova, the person in charge of growth, said that it always adheres to user-centricity and product strategies will be dynamically adjusted according to user preferences. She pointed out that Meme has strong potential to create wealth and create economic value through "playing with memes", and Meme will have more application scenarios in the future. At the same time, she believes that compliance is a key factor in attracting traditional capital to enter and will also accelerate the improvement of infrastructure and liquidity. Jenny, head of Avalanche China Market, said that Avalanche will focus more on the builder ecosystem in 2025 and has launched a number of incentive policies to support the growth of developers and communities. Jenny mentioned that the United States is promoting crypto regulations to be progressed rapidly under the new administration cycle, and Avalanche will firmly support regulatory compliance. At the same time, she believes that RWA (reality assets) and payments are huge opportunities, and with the improvement of the legal framework, more traditional financial institutions will accelerate their entry.

In the second roundtable with the theme of "New Narrative of Crypto 2025", Feniz, head of growth at XO, Joan Teng, founder of LOOP Space, Eligos Cheung, head of Asia for SaharaAI, JT Song, head of Greater China, and Anita, chief marketing officer of Juchain, jointly discussed the next stage of crypto narrative and innovation breakthroughs.

Feniz, head of growth at XO, stressed that community building is crucial in Web3 projects, and maintaining community activity and ensuring members gain benefits is an ongoing challenge. In terms of potential tracks, he mentioned that current crypto consumption is mostly prepaid "recharge cards", and the real "crypto credit cards" has not yet been realized. Due to the high volatility of crypto assets, credit-based consumer products still need to be broken through.

According to Joan Teng, founder of LOOP Space, LOOP Space has currently held more than 100 encrypted-themed Space events and attracted more than 150 KOLs to settle in.
