FOX reporter Eleanor Terrett said on social media that “New York Attorney General Letitia James wrote a letter to Congressional leaders, House Speaker and House Minority Leaders urging them to adopt a federal digital asset regulatory framework to mitigate the risks of fraud, criminal activity and financial instability. She said that the widespread adoption of Bitcoin threatens the dominance of the dollar and calls for the 'localization' of the stablecoin (i.e., promoting its development within the U.S.) to protect the dominance of the dollar. James also opposed allowing digital assets to be included in retirement accounts.”
