On April 12, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter, the U.S. Department of Justice has been investigating Justin Sun’s alleged financial crimes during the Biden administration, and it is not clear whether the investigation is still ongoing.

Some people familiar with the matter said he has agreed to provide prosecutors with evidence about Justin Sun as part of the CZ plea agreement. This arrangement has not been reported before. The U.S. Department of Justice declined to comment on the news.

Justin Sun's representative declined to comment on "unfounded legal allegations" and said the so-called "Tron fuels criminal activities" was purely fabricated.

Previous reports that last night, CZ posted on X platform saying, "Many people told me again that the Wall Street Journal is writing another article that attacked me without any basis."
