ZKsync issued a statement on the X platform stating that after investigation, the administrator account of the three airdrop distribution contracts had been hacked. The attacker called the sweepUnclaimed () function and minted about 111 million non-approved ZK tokens from the aidrop contract. This incident only involved the airdrop distribution contract. All minted funds have been minted, and further attacks cannot be exploited through this method. The ZKsync protocol, ZK token contracts, all three governance contracts, and all active token plan cap minters have not been affected by the incident and will not be affected. They are currently coordinating the recovery work with the exchange, and recommending that the attacker return funds and avoid legal liability.
