Senior Ukrainian officials, including Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko, will travel to Washington next week to attend meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, including an April 25 ministerial meeting focusing on Ukraine.

U.S. President Trump seeks to reach an agreement covering Ukrainian minerals, including rare earths, as part of his efforts to end the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, and to recoup billions of dollars of US military aid to Kiev.
