VanEck plans to launch a new cryptocurrency-related exchange-traded fund (ETF) next month under the stock code NODE. The ETF aims to provide investment opportunities for the wider cryptocurrency economy by investing in financial instruments and stocks associated with cryptocurrency exchanges, Bitcoin miners and data centers. Matthew Sigel, head of digital assets research at VanEck, said: “NODE adopts an active management strategy with the goal of holding 30 to 60 stocks from more than 130 stocks related to the digital asset economy. The global economy is moving toward a digital foundation. NODE provides positive stock investment opportunities for brick-and-mortar businesses that build this future.”
