According to DL News, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson responded in an exclusive interview with him that he was not invited by the White House crypto roundtable, saying that "there is no need to reach a deal with Trump", saying that the current U.S.-driven crypto policy reforms should focus on "sustainable, long-term frameworks" rather than relying on short-term politicians. Previously, Trump met with crypto executives including Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, MicroStrategy executive chairman Michael Saylor, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse and other crypto executives to discuss digital asset regulation issues. Hoskinson, who is regarded as representing the sovereign blockchain camp, was not invited, although the White House has recently considered incorporating the ADA into the national crypto reserves. Hoskinson said he was lobbying globally to promote blockchain policy, in close contact with Senate Banking Committee Chairman Tim Scott in the United States to support his leading stablecoin bill, Genius Act; met with former digital transformation minister Takaya Hirai in Japan; and in Argentina, talking with President Milei team. He stressed that even if Trump issued an executive order for cryptocurrency, established a strategic reserve of Bitcoin and appointed crypto-friendly people to lead the SEC during his tenure, what is really important is the regulatory stability brought by legislation.
