In March 2025, TON Foundation and Jupiter, a leading DEX on Solana, launched a competition to accelerate the development of on-chain swap infrastructure on TON. The goal was to support the creation of high-performance aggregators that minimize price impact, optimize routing, and pave the way for future cross-chain trading.

Judging criteria

Submissions were assessed based on a combination of technical excellence, usability, and long-term potential:

• Codebase quality, solution implementation, and security
• Practical utility for Toncoin holders and Telegram users
• Community traction, partnerships, and business development capabilities
• Go-to-market strategy and launch readiness

To ensure a fair and thorough evaluation, we worked with TonBit, a leading security and auditing firm in the TON ecosystem. TonBit contributed technical expertise and reviewed submissions for code quality and safety.

First place winners

DeDust and swap.coffee stood out for their technical quality, product vision, and ability to deliver real improvements to TON’s on-chain trading experience.

Each will receive:

• Advisory support from Jupiter
• Potential integration into Jupiter’s JupNet, an omnichain network for liquidity aggregation
• Audit cost coverage from TON Foundation
• Introductions to TON Foundation’s investor network
• Marketing support from TON Foundation

Why this matters

As DeFi grows on TON, especially within Telegram, aggregators will play a key role in delivering smooth, low-cost, and user-friendly swaps. They find the best trade routes across liquidity sources, helping users get better execution with less price impact—a key requirement for competing with centralized exchanges (CEXs).

These improvements are essential for onboarding everyday Telegram users into DeFi. Native aggregators will power seamless swaps directly inside Telegram Mini Apps and wallets, making on-chain trading more intuitive and accessible for mainstream users.
