According to Cointelegraph, Manta Network co-founder Kenny Li disclosed a highly complex phishing attack. The attacker used video footage of real team members in a Zoom video call, trying to induce them to download malware. Li said that during the video call, the other party's camera is turned on and the facial image is real, but the sound cannot be heard. The system prompted that Zoom needs to be updated and script files are downloaded, which aroused his alert. He believes the attack could be initiated by the North Korean state-backed hacker group Lazarus. After being asked to verify identity through Telegram, the attacker deleted all messages and blocked them.
