Why would I take a picture of the most ordinary banana? To be honest, I didn't really want to buy it at the beginning, at least I didn't have the determination to definitely take it. But later on, I did some homework on this artwork;I understand that in traditional art, value is often closely linked to physical factors such as techniques, materials, and history. But conceptual art subverts this logic: it makes the concept itself the core of art. A banana stuck on the wall, with no special material, but it forces us to think about what art is. It is not answering, but constantly asking questions. And this questioning process precisely makes its value, like Bitcoin, no longer limited by "cost", but entirely determined by ideas and consensus.I think this may be the next generation of art. 🍌
